PROGRAMS
Westminster Girls Softball offers multiple programs to support plays at every stage, from first-time beginners to experienced athletes seeking competitive play. Each of our programs are built around player development, teamwork, and creating a positive experience on and off the field.
Recreational Division
Grades: Kindergarten through High School
Spring Season: March through June, ends in a multi-league tournament
Fall Season: September through October, an 8-week mini season
Highlights
- Open to all skill levels, including brand new players
- Emphasis on fun, fundamentals, and player development
- Weekly practices and games held at Jaycee Park and nearby Westminster fields

Travel Division
Ages: 10U to 18U
Includes: Central Maryland League competition, USSSA tournaments, and state and national-level events

- Higher commitment level with regular practices and structured training

Special Olympics Team
New in Spring 2025, Westminster Girls Softball is proud to support the Special Olympics Team of Carroll County! This program is open to athletes with intellectual abilities who want to enjoy the game of softball in an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Focus on fun, teamwork, and skill-building
- Volunteer coaches and buddies assist through the season
- Games and practices are designed to fit each athlete's ability level
