Season Overview

Our Recreational Division offers two seasons each year: Spring and Fall. Each season is designed to provide a fun, supportive mix of practices, games, and skill-building opportunities. The Spring season is our primary season, featuring a full schedule that ends with a multi-league tournament. The Fall season is short and more relaxed, with a focus on player development and staying active. We do our best to balance team schedules with family life and encourage participation at a pace that works for every player.

  • Spring Season: Begins in March
  • Fall Season: Begins in September
  • Team Formation: Typically occurs 2-4 weeks before the season starts
  • Weekly Commitment: Most teams have 1-2 practices and 1-2 games per week

Equipment & Uniforms

Each player in the Recreational Division receives a team jersey and socks as part of their registration.

Players should bring the following gear to each practice and game:

  • Softball glove
  • Bat
  • Batting helmet
  • Fielder's face mask
  • Cleats (rubber only - no metal spikes!)

Not sure what size bat or glove your child needs? We're always here to help with equipment questions, sizing guidance, or recommendations on where to shop.

We can also connect families with gently used equipment when available.

Age Groups & Skill Levels

Players are grouped by age to ensure they're learning and competing alongside others at a similar stage of development. No tryouts are required for our Recreational Division. League coordinators do their best to place players evenly across teams.
